I very excited to be sharing 10 success tips for a new Jamberry consultant with you today. I hope you find these useful and inspiring. I’d love to know what you think of these ideas, so once you’ve read them please do pop me a comment at the bottom of the post and let me know what you think.
So, let’s get started looking at these 10 success tips for a new Jamberry consultant
1. Have an open mind
This is important when starting any new business. You will be getting instructions and suggestions from your sponsor as well as from Jamberry, being open minded about them will really help you succeed in the long run. I always say to think of your mind like a hot air balloon; if it’s not open, it’s not working.
2. Get excited
Being excited about your new business is VITAL. Your excitement and passion will exude from you and people will be able to see it. Excitement breeds excitement, so people will be excited with you. And if they’re excited they’re more likely to want to support you in your endeavours.
3. Book in a call with your sponsor
You want to have a call with your sponsor so she can answer any questions you have about your new Jamberry business. Also she will help you come up with a plan for your first few weeks.
4. Make a working list of everyone you know
This is a big one, and something not everyone does. There are loads of helpful prompts to help you with this too. Creating a list of everyone you know will then help you with who you contact about your new business, and what aspect of the business you tell them. We like to use FRANKS and BEANS. Would you like some help with creating your list? Well look no further, you can download my FRANKS and BEANS lead prompt list below 🙂
5. SHARE not SELL
What we mean by this is share what you’re doing. Tell people, either in person or on social media, about your new business. Take photos of your starter kit and post it on Facebook. You can add something like ‘Wowee, look what just arrived! I’m too excited!!’. Don’t put something like ‘Check out my starter kit, click here to shop now: your link’. You want to share what you’re doing and get people seeing it, being interested in it, and open to you then personally talking to them about the business. If you post links on Facebook immediately people will think you’re just after them to buy something from you. It’s a turn off.
6. Familiarise yourself with Fast Start
Our Fast Start incentive is an amazing way for new Jamberry consultants to earn extra free wraps. Statistics show that consultants who complete all three levels are more likely to reach the top of the company! So it’s definitely something you want to check out straight away.
7. Book your launch party
For your launch party I would recommend you have 3 dates ready. You want those 3 dates very close to each other too, so for example a Thursday evening, Saturday afternoon and Sunday evening. Or Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday evening. Whatever works for you. The first two will be in person parties you will host in your home or a local pub/bar/coffee shop (or whatever works for you). The third will be your Facebook party. Now you want to make your list for who you invite in person and online separate. You then want to invite people in person first, and only give them the first date initially. Then, and only then, if they can’t make the first date, give them the second. If they still can’t make that then invite them to your Facebook party.
Now isn’t that a nice way to catch everyone? You will most likely have some non-local guests that you only invite to your Facebook party and that’s fine. But start with your local ones before you build the buzz about your Facebook one.
8. Book another 5 parties
Now these can be in home parties, online parties, 121 demonstrations, whatever you like. But get those dates confirmed and in the diary. Working 6 parties within your first month as a consultant will set you up for a smashing start!
Be sure to be planning your time in a way that works for you, your family and your business. The last thing we want is for you to feel like you don’t have enough time, or you’re overwhelmed by everything. I recommend time blocking which is a great way to ensure every part of your day is planned out. Also work out when you can work your Jamberry business. Choose two nights a week you can do parties and they’re the nights you book. If people want other nights then it’s up to you if you try to make it work. Personally I would recommend you stick to the two nights that work for you. If you can party twice a week, every week, you will have a very successful business!
10. Set goals
This is very important and is crutuial to your success. You need to know what that success actually is for you. How much do you want to earn a month? £200? £500? £1000? Or more? Anything is possible, but it takes actually setting that goal and then breaking it down to work out how you’ll get there. This is something you can definitely do with your sponsor as she can help you with the compensation plan and ensure you feel confident what it will take to get you where you want to be.
